Ms Ray's art challenge for the week beginning 11th May was to be creative and use remembrance as the theme. Take a look at the amazing results!
2D presented a wonderful assembly based on the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. Great performance 2D!
A great assembly from 4W in the Spring Term. The children were able to share all the learning they have been doing on The Celts and Romans. Well done 4W!
Year 2 children had a great day visiting Kew Gardens. They did a workshop about plants and how they adapt to different environments.
The annual New End tradition of Christmas Strings continues. Each year a wonderful decoration will be made by every child across the school. They always look amazing!
Both Year Two classes visited Wagamama to explore the use of fruit and vegetables and to learn about cooking. The children were able to try different ingredients before making their own juices and noodles. A great time was had by all!
Dr Szydlo visited New End this week and shared his scientific genius and chemistry knowledge with us all. Everyone in Years 3 to 6 were thoroughly entertained! (And everyone learnt something new!)
As part of Anti-Bullying Week 2019 everyone at New End was invited to wear odd socks on Tuesday, 12th November. All donations received have been sent to the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
Year 3 classes enjoyed their visit to Hampstead Heath in the last week of October. They enjoyed their workshop on Stone Age survival skills where they learnt how to make dens and fire. They also enjoyed completing a soil investigation.
