Anti Bullying Statement
Bullying can be repeated verbal, physical or mental abuse.
Bullies can be both children and adults.
Bullying can have a very damaging effect on people’s lives, both in and out of school.
New End Primary School aims to provide a safe and secure environment for children, staff, parents and carers.
We aim to identify incidents and provide support to anyone involved in resolving the situation.
We encourage an atmosphere of openness in which children and adults can share their concerns.
Bullying will not be tolerated in any form.

New End Primary School is a multicultural community where we celebrate each other’s differences, where we value and respect each other’s cultures.
The school has trained Anti-Bullying Champions in Years 4 to 6. These ABC‘s are working with our Well Being Ambassadors to gain accreditation for The Diana Award. Supported by HRH The Duke of Cambridge, The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Campaign engages young people, parents and teachers to change the attitudes, behaviour and culture of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and offline. New End has two booklets (one for children and one for adults) about bullying which we will be sending home in Anti-Bullying Week. This helps both children and parents understand what bullying is and provides information about what to do if they believe bullying is taking place.
